Horse Boarding

Horses must be comfortable with their surroundings to relax and perform at their very best. We constantly strive to offer the kind of quiet, consistent and competent care that is necessary to keep all of our boarders healthy and happy.

• Oldest and most experienced hunter/ jumper and dressage facility in the area
• Other breeds and disciplines are welcome
• Facility is owned and staffed by caring professionals who take the care of your horse very seriously. Owner lives on the premises.
• Excellent individualized feeding program, safe, secure, daily turnout, daily stall cleaning
• The barn consists of well-ventilated stalls with automatic waterers, matted flooring, skylights and large windows for a light airy environment. Several run-in sheds available.
• Several warm water wash stalls and other well lit dry grooming areas
• Secure, heated tack room has private tack lockers and storage areas for blankets and other equipment.
• The indoor arena and outdoor arena have well maintained sand footing and lights with full sets of hunter/ jumper show jumps.
• Cross- country schooling fences and maintained trails
• Lush grass fields and private paddocks are fenced with secure vinyl and electric fencing and all have automatic waterers. 
• Horse transportation, excellent Veterinary and Farrier services

Riding Lessons

Are you serious about learning to ride safely and correctly? If you are looking for a facility that strives to develop a disciplined training program for you and/ or your horse, give us a call, stop by the farm or look for us at the horse shows.  We have specialized in hunt seat and dressage lessons and training for many years.

• Riding program strives to give each student and their equine partner the time and attention to absorb each new lesson to the full extent of their abilities.
• Instructor has many years of teaching experience in hunt seat, jumpers, dressage, western, saddle seat and other forms of horse back riding from beginners to advanced levels.
• We teach all levels and ages of riders (over age 8) from beginners to professionals. We strive to make each session worthwhile for both riders and their horse in terms of learning a new skill or advancing the level of a previously learned skill.  Connie Winters, instructor and trainer, encourages each student to use their physical and mental abilities to their best advantage. 
• We host and train the IUP English Equestrian team and attend IHSA shows.

Horse Showing

Our Showing calendar allows the horse and rider the opportunity to compete at many different levels and types of horse shows.  We regularly compete at many “A” rated USEF shows on the east coast in the hunter, jumper and dressage rings.  We also attend several non-rated shows each year for our students and young horses that are just learning the skills necessary to show successfully. We have riders competing at the 4-H, the Inter-collegiate levels and up thru many different divisions of the USEF.

• Showing can be arranged whether you are a boarder, a ship- in student or you wish to join us at the horse shows.
• Horse show coaching and show ring training for horse and rider. 
• Horse transportation to and from horse shows, clinics and other events is available 
• Clinics are frequently hosted and attended by boarders and instructor

Horse Training

Our goal is to help the serious horse / rider combination and the entry-level rider who is serious about learning how to ride and show correctly. 

• Our training program has produced many winners in the International Hunter Futurity, the USEF Hunter Breeding divisions, Child/ Adult Jumpers, Amateur-Owner Jumpers, Hi- Score Dressage Horse and many other divisions.
• Our specialty is bringing along the young or green horse, from teaching basic stable manners to a finished show horse that you can be proud of.
• Your goals and aspirations are the driving force in our program.  We will work together as a team to help you reach these goals!

Horse Sales and Purchases

• We will prepare, represent and show your sales horse to prospective clients using our facilities and our web presence.
• Our experienced staff can handle finding the right horse for your needs and goals, with our many contacts throughout the horse world.

Other Services

• Mare care & foaling, foal training, and breeding have been a part of our program for many years.  We offer our years of expertise for your mare and foal. Excellent reproductive veterinary care and round the clock care is available to our clients.
• Lay-ups, rehabilitation and retirement care of your horse with some problems or age are handled by a caring professional and support staff.
• We work with your veterinarian or ours to give your horse the care that he needs to recoup or retire in comfort.  Our facilities offer the stabling, turnout and exercise areas necessary to bring your horse back to full work or retire in luxury.
