Connie Winters
After graduation from IUP with a degree in biology and many years as a 4-H member riding games & western, she became interested in hunters, jumpers and dressage. She did extensive showing throughout the 70’s as an amateur before building Winterfield Farms, Inc. and turning professional. She stood the late TB stallion WAR FLASH whose progeny still grace the hunter jumper and dressage rings with their flashy good looks and tractable personalities. As a 4-H horse leader and coach of the IUP Equestrian team for many years, Connie especially enjoys working with students to help them reach their goals with their horse in competitions.
